Six China stores, one week

Gap China continues its momentum with a flurry of new store openings our team pulled off within a seven-day span.
Beijing welcomed its eighth Gap Specialty store and Shanghai its ninth while new locations popped up for the first time in Shenzhen, Hefei and Nanjing.
That's pretty impressive, considering we opened our first stores in China just three years ago — Shanghai's Hong Kong Plaza store was Gap's first official opening with three more quickly following in 2010. In 2012 alone, 25 new Specialty stores opened.
These latest openings are examples of the company’s growth and confidence in China, which is the second-largest apparel market in the world.
New store locations include:
Hefei Cosmo City
Beijing Living Mall
Nanjing IST Mall
Shenzhen Coco Park
Shenzhen All City
Shanghai L’Avenue Mall
