We Love it; You Need it

Have you ever wondered what employees at Gap Inc. wear to the office?

Well, now you can take a peek. Banana Republic, one of Gap Inc.’s five brands, is launching its “We Love It; You Need It” campaign. BR employees are sharing their favorite fall looks on social media channels and in stores throughout North America.

I was one of many employees who had a co-worker snap a photo while wearing my favorite new outfit at the headquarters office in San Francisco. From the new fall line, I chose a great pair of denim pants and an awesome non-iron, slim fit button-down shirt. Throw in the gray twill blazer that I wanted to wear right out of the photo shoot, and count me ready for fall. Check out this photo of my office mate Liz rockin’ a chambray shirt and yellow pencil skirt.  These looks and more are featured on the Banana Republic  Facebook page, in dressing room areas of your local BR store, and in the shoppable boutique at bananarepublic.com.

It wasn’t hard to find employees – in stores and at HQ – who wanted to join the virtual fashion show. We (of course) love clothing. Add in the Gap Inc. benefit of our employee discount and it’s common to find employees wearing BR designs – in the elevators, hallways, and “Gapeteria.”

This is a new way for us to engage with team members and share our passion with customers. We love it... and we think you will too.
